2010 Demoreel

Finally,
I made a recently update on my demoreel, I collected some projects from 2010 and keept some olds ones that I still like. (less than 10 months from the old demoreel, but with the new year I wanted some new stuff)
Working with publicity made us work in a lot of projects, some nicer or more elaborate, and for many times we worked hard and couldn`t just use a simple scene of a simple commercial, but when we made something that we liked or made us proud we couldn`t wait to show our friends and family. Ok, let me show you some of my lastest projects. Hope you enjoy them.Let me know if you did!

Finally,
after a few months working on a huge movie about a man who comes back to his past and has a chance to modify his future. I can finally show you something. I believe so much on the sucess of this movie, not only because of the actors, but the script is very funny too.
We did (Conspiração) all the 3d and effects, everything was inside the house, it was my first movie and I`m so excited to see the result. We were 17 heads, fighting against time and trying to reach the best quality, I will not mention the time we had to accomplish the work.

It was unbelievable (it was is).

OK, after I`ve done a Nuke workshop with Steve Wright (link) I decided go deep myself and put some knowledge on practice, I still learning a lot of things and getting more excited every day with this amazing software. I can share some material with you and maybe we can chance some ideas and tips and why not some doubts too.
I always caught my self thinking on a Flame style of working and all the time I had to clear my mind and start thinking again in Nuke style, because the way of software works, I don`t wanna make any kind of comparison, I still discovering the power of Nuke (and still loving the Flame) and found a lot of powerful tools, so please send a opinion about nuke and your actual composition software or your last one.

Beauty Scenes

Hi Everyone
I was talking to a friend about some examples of beauty retouches and hair/skin manipulation, and I made this short edit to show what I have done so far.
In some films of shampoo and hair conditioner I manually removed the frizz, on others just a simple manipulation of skin, but It’s not always as simple as it seems.

Please, take a look and feel free to ask me something if you want.

Hi everyone, for the first time after all these years of hard working I decided to take some time for myself or almost, and I’m going out on vacation. Again, I’ll spend this full month working, but in another country with the great guys from Ingreme post production in Lisbon/ Portugal. I hope I’ll make big friends and learn a lot.
Visiting another country is always an amazing experience but having a chance of work and being part of different workflows makes the experience unforgettable.
I promise to do my best and share with you my newest work after this month.

In this commercial the client had an idea of giving something back for all
the years of trust on their products, a lot of minimal corrections and some
4 nice shots with live action and 3d, I really appreciated these scenes,
I did a nice mkof about the last scene. That was my first job totally
supervised in house by me.

Commercial done for a children`s medicated cream. I’ve worked on the night shift and we only had 03 days of post production, the last scenes were composited in record time for presentation to the client!

A big desert and nothing else. That was our original scene, one month and a lot of work to do.

I`ve worked on almost all of the external shots, and with some 3d and comp fueled the background, the 3d made a beautiful work and to finish this was delightful.

When I started my sequence of freelance jobs in a Company in Rio de Janeiro this film was my last one, before they invited me to be a full contract employee,
I`ve done a lot of set extension and matte extraction in this film.
For a long time this film was my favorite, I liked the idea and the effects, and I was definitely very proud to be a part of the composition team.
